The progress cycle of employment and advancement through the ranks of the medical transcription career is dependant on the individual's own progress in productivity. At AITS however, due to the fact that this is still a new industry in the dawn of its life cycle, this progress is highly accelerated.
Within a matter of a few months, a hard working dedicated employee could find himself, or herself, to be in a position it would normally take years to achieve.

The following is a hierarchy of the production staff at AITS in an increasing capacity:

• Medical Transcriptionist
• Senior Medical Transcriptionist
• Quality Controller
• Senior Quality Controller
• Production Team Leader/Quality Assurance Executive
• Production Shift-in-Charge
• Production Manager

The main alluring aspect of employment at AITS is not moving up the ranks of the medical transcription hierarchy. As appealing and fast paced as it is, AITS has more to offer its employees.

Medical transcription is only the first of many projects that AITS is planning on launching in the future. It is an infrastructure that will be used to build an entire e-medicine industry on. Like medical transcription, other aspects of this industry do not exist in Egypt, or the Middle East. Employees showing the motivation to be productive and creative team players, in addition to having the stamina to function efficiently in a global market, will have opportunities to become involved in various projects involving e-health and telemedicine on an enormous scale. This presents new career opportunities for graduates of faculties related to the health field who understand the needs of the health sector, and where they are lacking.
