The Program Description:

The training program provided at AITS is a state-of-arts program consisting of development of Transcription skills through touch typing education, as well as development of listening and quality control training.
This training is very expensive in the United States. However, at AITS, the training fess are provided free of charge under the patronage of ministry of communication and information technology. This is in accordance to the Egyptian Government's plan to make Egypt an appealing center for various off share BPO services.

 

 

 

 

The Course Duration

The duration for the Medical Transcription training course is three month; of which one month consist of soft skills training in the topics such as communication and presentation skills. After three month, the trainee is fully capable of participating in transcription of records.

The Course Exams and End Result:

  • Certification will be granted at the end of the training course to those who have successfully completed it, in addition to passing an online internationally accredited certification test provided by Thomson Prometric, the leading global provider to comprehensive testing and assessment services. This test's standard are based on the international industry norms (The American Association of Medical Transcription), which reflects the quality of service that AITS adheres to.
  • Only those who have passed this test will be offered employment opportunities at AITS.
  • The cost of the certification test will be paid in part by the applicant, and part of the cost will be shared by AITS.
  • Test taking will be done online, and test results will be posted for the test takers on the internet.
